As a Team Lead in Operational Research, you will manage a team of 4-5 (possibly more in the future) operational research experts in their daily multi-project work.
DESCRIPTION
Specifically, you will be responsible for mobilizing your team to deliver multiple projects in parallel for our clients.
Your previous experience as an OR expert enables you to understand your team’s challenges well and to support them. You will also play the role of a scrum master to ensure that sprints are systematically delivered. Additionally, you will be responsible for assigning tasks within your team to optimize each member's skills. Ideally, all of this is done with a passion for terrible puns to keep the team motivated.
We are looking for someone with solid knowledge in operational research, proven experience in a team management role, and the ability to build trust with their team of experts, clients, and project collaborators (project managers, product owners, UX-UI designers). Patates Dolbec is the largest potato producer in eastern Canada. By implementing AI in their sorting machine, we have fully automated their quality control process, as well as avoided the waste of nearly 500,000 pounds of potatoes per year!
