Destination 2000 Contest Rules

1. CONTEST ORGANIZER
The “Destination 2000 with Vooban” contest is held and organized by Vooban Inc.

 
2. CONTEST DURATION
The contest will take place in Québec from May 28, 2024, at 8:00 AM (ET) to May 30, 2024, at 4:00 PM (ET) (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest Period”).

 
3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for the contest, a participant must:

Be a resident of the province of Québec;
Be at least 18 years old at the time of entry;
Attend the Web à Québec event in person.
Employees, agents, administrators, and representatives of Vooban Inc., as well as individuals residing with them, are not eligible to participate.

 
4. HOW TO ENTER
To enter the contest, participants must meet the eligibility criteria and comply with all other rules outlined herein.

Participation is free and requires no purchase.

Eligible participants must complete the entry form available at https://go.vooban.com/destination2000. By clicking "I’m in," participants agree to receive newsletters from Vooban Inc.

Once the form is submitted, and all eligibility conditions are met, the participant is automatically entered into the contest.

 
5. PRIZE DESCRIPTION
$2,000 travel credit
The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-assignable.

 
7. PROCESS
7.1. Eligible participants must submit the entry form by May 30, 2024, at https://go.vooban.com/destination2000, and agree to receive Vooban newsletters by clicking "I’m in" at the end of the form.

A winner will be drawn at random from all entries on Thursday, May 30 at 4:00 PM, and announced that day at the Web à Québec event (84 Rue Dalhousie, Québec, QC G1K 8M5) and on Vooban’s Facebook page. The winner will be contacted by phone and will have 48 hours to accept the prize. If not, a new winner will be selected.

7.2. Vooban Inc. reserves the right to disqualify any participant or cancel an entry that does not comply with these rules.

 
8. PARTICIPATION LIMITATION
Only one entry per eligible participant is allowed.

 
9. GENERAL CONDITIONS
9.1. To be declared the winner, the selected participant must:

Be reached by phone by the Organizer within 48 business hours following the draw. If the participant cannot be reached in 2 attempts or does not respond within 48 hours, they forfeit the prize.
Confirm eligibility and compliance with the contest rules.
Sign a declaration and liability waiver form within three (3) business days. The Organizer will send this form via email using DocuSign for electronic signature.
Failure to meet any of these conditions or to accept the prize will result in disqualification and another random draw will be held. If no eligible winner is declared within 30 days, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the prize.

9.2. Prize Delivery
The prize will be either shipped to the winner’s address or available for pick-up at Vooban’s office, at the winner’s preference. Delivery costs will be fully covered by Vooban Inc.

9.3. Verification
All entry forms are subject to verification. Any entry that is fraudulent, incomplete, illegible, late, or non-compliant will be rejected. The Organizer’s decisions regarding any aspect of the contest, including eligibility or disqualification, are final, subject to decisions from the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec (the Board).

9.4. Disqualification
Vooban Inc. reserves the right to disqualify anyone who attempts to enter the contest through unfair means or in violation of the rules. The matter may be referred to legal authorities if necessary.

9.5. Prize Acceptance
The prize must be accepted as described and may not be transferred to another person unless otherwise stated.

9.6. Liability Limitation – Prize Use
The winner releases Vooban Inc., its advertising and promotion agencies, employees, agents, and representatives from any damages, losses, or injuries related to the acceptance or use of the prize. Once the winner is informed of the prize delivery terms, the responsibility lies with the prize suppliers.

9.7. Liability Limitation – Technical Issues
Vooban Inc. and its partners are not responsible for any technical failures (e.g., communication issues, software bugs, network problems) that may prevent participation.

9.8. Liability Limitation – Participation
Vooban Inc. and its partners are not responsible for any damage resulting from downloading web content or submitting information related to the contest.

9.9. Contest Modification
Vooban Inc. reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if unforeseen events or human intervention disrupt its fairness or integrity, subject to approval by the Régie if applicable.

9.10. Authorization
The winner authorizes Vooban Inc. to use their name, image, voice, location, or statements for promotional purposes without compensation.

9.11. Prize Limit
In no case shall more prizes be awarded than those specified in the rules.

9.12. Liability Limitation – Participation
Participants release Vooban Inc. and its representatives from any damage resulting from their participation in the contest.

9.13. Official Rules

9.14. Disputes
Any dispute related to the contest’s organization may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for resolution. Disputes about prize attribution may also be submitted to the Régie, but only for intervention purposes.
