Our Finance team is a CFO, a financial controller and an accounting technician. We're missing the gem who will complete the team as an analyst: someone who wants to understand the numbers, not just produce them.

Here, finance moves as much as the company does. We're evolving our business model, automating our accounting processes and taking on varied challenges, while keeping our recurring operations such as payroll, billing and month-end close solid.

In a human-sized team like ours, your work has a direct and visible impact. You're not one analyst among many in a large, well-oiled structure: you have latitude, an overall view of operations, and your contribution shows concretely across the organization.

Reporting directly to the financial controller, you'll work closely with her and with the whole team, but also with many people across the organization, such as project managers and business development leads.

Your Responsibilities

Revenue and accounts receivable

• Own the revenue cycle, from project opening to billing, and ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition.
• Work with project managers to obtain the information needed for revenue recognition and for tracking work progress.
• Handle accounts receivable collection and step in on at-risk accounts.

Payroll

• Ensure payroll is produced and compliant.
• Record salaries and employee benefits, and handle special cases (adjustments, retroactive pay).

Month-end close and analysis

• Prepare analyses and reconciliations of various balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Calculate provisions and accruals.
• Take part in analyzing monthly variances and raise accounting and operational issues.
• Take part in producing financial reports and performance indicators.

Transformation and special projects

• Take part in transforming the business model, including the evolution of billing methods.
• Design new accounting processes or adapt existing ones as the business evolves.
• Automate several accounting processes, notably with artificial intelligence tools.
• Contribute to varied projects, which can range from a business combination to the analysis of accounting or regulatory standards.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA designation, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in industry or public practice.
• Good knowledge of ASPE and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Quebec payroll and QuickBooks Online: great assets.
• Comfortable with technology tools and genuinely interested in automation and AI applied to accounting.
• Analytical mind and curiosity: it's not enough for you that it balances, you ask questions until it makes sense.
