Hugues Foltz has been supporting companies in the development and execution of their digital transformation for more than 20 years. In 2018, he became co-owner and executive vice-president of Vooban, a firm recognized for its expertise in artificial intelligence and the development of custom software solutions.
He is recognized for his ability to tackle business issues and challenges, which allows him to offer pragmatic innovation roadmaps that have significant impact. In addition to overseeing growth strategy and business development at Vooban, Hugues Foltz is involved in several organizations that revolve around Quebec’s technology and AI ecosystem.
With over 100 conferences and training workshops, he has raised awareness and equipped thousands of managers across Quebec to help them succeed in their digital transformation. Hugues also writes for the newspaper Les Affaires. Each month, in his column L’intelligence artificielle, au-delà du buzzword, he informs and educate people about the power of AI and its ubiquity in the business world of today.
Before, Hugues spent almost two years as vice-president of professional services and innovation at Optel. He also founded Ellicom in 2002, which he managed for nearly 14 years. He surrounded himself with key players in the training and technology industries to make Ellicom the Canadian leader in online training. During his career, Hugues Foltz has also been part of various technological companies, whether as an investor, administrator, or mentor.
